Junior Open Water Key Largo Dive Weekend.

Kids will receive a full Scuba Certification after completing their Junior Open Water Scuba Camp through Scuba Outfitters of Naples!

Saturday we meet at Horizon Divers in Key Largo at 12:30 pm the boat will return about 5:30 pm.

Sunday we meet back at Horizon Divers at 8:30 am and the boat will return about 12:30 pm.

Parents, Friends, and Family are always welcome to join us on the dive boat. Please contact Scuba Outfitters to reserve your spot.

(Dive locations may be subject to change based on sea conditions.)

Parents are responsible for their kids transportation to Key Largo and One Nights Lodging.

Junior Open Water Scuba Camp

The Scuba Outfitters Junior Open Water Camp is a fun and easy way for Teens, ages 10 to 17,  to earn their PADI Junior Open Water scuba certification. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Jr. Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

What you will do:

• The PADI Jr. Open Water Diver course consists of the same three main phases found in the PADI Open Water Course:
• Knowledge Development at home to understand basic principles of scuba diving by using the PADI – Online Scuba Course.
• Confined Water Dives in Scuba Outfitters’ onsite Indoor Heated Pool to learn basic scuba skills.
• Open Water Dives on the beautiful coral reefs of the Florida Keys to review your skills and explore!

During the course you will learn:

• How much fun scuba diving is.
• Scuba diving equipment considerations for your local diving environment.
• How to plan and execute actual dives.
• How to prevent and manage problems.

Provided Materials:

• PADI Online Course
• Logbook
• Student Training Package
• Onsite indoor heated pool
• 4 Ocean Dives
• Professional PADI Scuba Instructor
• Rental Scuba equipment which includes
  – Weight integrated BCD
  – Regulator System
  – Appropriate Thermal Protection

Students Must Provide/Purchase:

• Scuba Quality Mask, Fins, and Snorkel.  (Must be Scuba Quality and fit properly. Quality and fit are up to the Instructors discretion.)
• Lunch each day of camp.
• Dry Change of Clothes
• Rashgaurd or Old T-shirt
• Towel
• Transportation to Key Largo.
• One nights lodging in Key Largo.
