PADI Deep Diver Specialty Class

There is something exciting and mysterious about exploring the deeper dive sites while scuba diving. It may be a wreck or or a wall that drops down to the abyss.  Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 meters/130 feet, you should take the PADI Deep Specialty course.

If you’ve earned the PADI Advanced Diver rating or higher, and you are at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.

What will you learn?

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and the importance of personal limits. During your four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:

• Specialized deep diving equipment.
• Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.
• Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.

What will you need:

• Complete SCUBA Equipment (BCD, Regulator, & Dive Computer)
• Appropriate Thermal Protection (Wetsuit)
• Dive Light
• Gloves
• Surface Marker Buoy & Whistle
• Cutting Device
• Mask, Snorkel, Booties, and Fins
• Transportation to Key Largo
