The PADI Scuba Review Course
What is a Scuba Review Course?
Has it been a while since you’ve been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Scuba Review Tune-up is just the scuba refresher you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you’re back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world.
Pool sessions are based on your schedule and last about 3 hours.
Included in the class is Instructor Time and Rental Gear.
Why take this course?
If you haven’t been diving for One year or more, feel your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty, heading to the islands to blow bubbles and want to feel more comfortable and prepared to dive when you arrive, then this course is for you!
What will you learn?
Your Scuba Outfitters Instructor will provide a few equipment assembly reminders and then you’ll enter the water. Once in the water he/she will demonstrate a specific skill and then ask you to repeat it. Skills include: Buoyancy Control, Various Mask Skills, Emergency Procedures, Sharing Air Techniques, Ascents/Descents and several other skills that will help build your confidence, improve your comfort and get you ready for your upcoming adventure.
What will I need?
If you have any of your own Snorkeling or Scuba gear we encourage you to bring it for your refresher. That way if anything is broken or going to break it will happen in the pool and not the ocean. If you do not own any equipment your welcome to use our rental gear included in the class. If you wish to purchase your own equipment, your Instructor can help size equipment and you can try it out in the pool during your refresher class.
Bring your Certification Card and Logbook so we can document your Scuba Review Class.
Don’t forget a bathing suit and towel.
Cost is $175 pp and Includes Instructor Time and Rental Gear.
Not included is the Optional PADI Online Scuba Tune-Up. ($62 paid directly to PADI online. This portion is not mandatory, but strongly suggested.)
