Please reserve your class at least 1 week prior to the classroom night.

Are you ready for more than just underwater sightseeing? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course lets you sample five exciting and useful specialty Dives such as deep diving, night diving, wreck diving and much more!

At Scuba Outfitters, your Advanced Open Water Course consists of one evening in the classroom participating in a group discussion on advanced diving techniques, including a review of five PADI adventure dives.  During the weekend in Key Largo you will conduct 5 dives.  On Saturday afternoon you will be doing 2 Shallow Dives followed by a Night Dive that evening.  On Sunday, you will be doing your Deep and Wreck Dives on the wreck of the Spiegel Grove.

You will learn and practice techniques for safely conducting deep dives, while becoming more proficient with navigation and improving your buoyancy.  Additionally, you will  properly navigate a wreck and experience the whole new underwater world that comes alive after the sun goes down.

Provided Materials:

• Advanced Open Water Manual
• Certification Card
• Student Training Package
• Five dives in Key Largo

What will you need:

• Complete SCUBA Equipment (Rental Available)
• Regulator and Computer (Rental Available)
• Appropriate Thermal Protection
• Dive Light
• Mask, Snorkel, Booties, and Fins
• Transportation to Key Largo
• One nights lodging

Very Highly Recommended Equipment:

• Gloves
• Surface Signaling Device (Visual and Auditory)
• Slate
• Backup Light
• Cutting Tool
