The Scuba Outfitter Youth Open Water Camp is the funnest and easiest way for Teens, ages 10 to 15, to earn their PADI Junior Open Water scuba certification. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Jr. Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.
What you will do:
The PADI Jr. Open Water Diver course consists of the same three main phases found in the PADI Open Water Course:
• Knowledge Development at home to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives in Scuba Outfitters’ onsite indoor pool to learn basic scuba skills
• Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!
During the course you will learn:
• How much fun scuba diving is
• Scuba diving equipment considerations for your local diving environment
• How to plan and execute actual dives
• How to prevent and manage problems

• PADI Open Water Diver DVD
• PADI Open Water Manual
• Logbook
• Student Training Package
• Onsite indoor heated pool
• 4 Ocean Dives
• Rental Scuba equipment which includes
- Weight integrated BCD
- Balanced Regulator System
- Appropriate Thermal Protection
2012 JOW Camp Schedule
The camp runs Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 and then a weekend in Key Largo for the Open Water Dives.
