Continue the Adventure!
During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course at Scuba Outfitters you will do a Deep Dive, Wreck, Dive, Navigation Dive, Night Dive (optional), and dive of your choice under the supervision of one of our experienced instructors.  This is designed as an experience course to take you to dive locations you may otherwise not be able to go.

You will learn more about how to safely conduct deep dives, become more proficient with the compass, properly navigate a wreck, experience the whole new underwater world that comes alive at sundown, or just improve on dive skills such as buoyancy, then this course is perfect for you.

What you will do:
This course requires 5 adventure dives over 2 days.  The type of dives you will experience include:

Deep Dive:  Defined as a dive 60 feet or greater.  Dive planning becomes more critical due to increased nitrogen loading and air consumption.  A Scuba Outfitters instructor will guide you through your first case of nitrogen narcosis.

Underwater Navigation Dive: expands on the basic skills learned during the Open Water Class.  Practice natural navigation and advanced compass skills.

Night Dive:  Provides a safe and exciting way to explore the ocean after dark with the opportunity to see nocturnal animals that are more active in the evening.

Wreck Dive: Safely and properly experience the wonder of diving on sunken ships

Underwater Naturalist: Learn more about the aquatic environment and inhabitants while perfecting the proper techniques for interacting with marine life

Drift Dive: Enjoy the sensation of flying over coral reefs and along sunken walls.

Boat Dive:  Perfect the proper techniques for safely diving from a boat

Peak Performance Buoyancy: Learn the technique for proper weighting for any aquatic environment and how to trim your weights for effortless diving.
